Data Logger Kit (from Nuts & Volts). As seen in Nuts & Volts, this data logger will read temperature data via modem. This is our normal APP-IV kit with a crystal instead of a ceramic resonator, some extra jumpers, and an LM34 temperature sensor. Even if you don't plan to use the data logger, this board is an excellent value since it contains a bootloader program and the GNU C compiler! That's right -- you can program this board with your own creations using C. Start with the data logger code, or write your own program from scratch. The APP-IV C libraries make it a snap to add serial I/O, A/D, time delays, and a host of other features built into the ATmega 8 processor. Look at the powerful capabilities of this board:
Normally, an APP-IV is about $40. But for a limited time, Nuts & Volts readers can get this enhanced version preprogrammed with the data logger softwarefor only $33! And that includes a free LM34 worth over $2. Note this is a kit, and requires assembly. This also makes it easy to customize to your own requirements. Hurry, this offer is only good for a limited time.
Don't forget to check out our other kits and take advantage of our flat rate shipping! |
